Bokken Kashima Shin Ryu - refers to heavy, powerful bokken with a thick blade, large tsuba and handle. This is a specialized bokken that is typically used in the famous Japanese fencing school Kashima Shin Ryu. A straight-shaped blade, without bending, has faces. A wide, robust tsuba abuts against the handle and is fixed in front with a latch.

For its properties, it is also called the "iron" tree. At shock loads that exceed the maximum critical threshold for this tree, it can leave such damage as micro dents and dents.
