Vintage Beltone Gold Foil Pickup Electric Guitar - Teisco?

Here is a vintage solidbody electric guitar marked "Beltone" on the headstock. Most likely made in Japan by Teisco. It has one gold foil pickup, one volume and one tone control. No scratchy sounds when they are turned. The total length is 39". The scale length is 24 1/2". Probably dates to the 1960's. It's seen it's fair share of use over the years with scratches and nicks to the finish. The chrome pick guard is shiny but has scratches and pitting to the surface. The good news is the neck is still flat and straight. The action is set to 1/8" at the 12th fret. New strings for easy bending. Put through an amp clean, it has the typical surf-rock sounds. Turn the tone knob counter clockwise and it takes the treble off. Clockwise adds some bass and distortion as well which is cool. Overdrive is a lot of fun but it will feedback if turned up too high. Great for slide as well. A fun, vintage guitar. 100% fresh to the market.
