Vintage 1950's Marx Tin Litho Doll House
2-Story Colonial with Breezeway and Rec Room
Main House is two stories: 19 1/2" x 9 1/2" x 14" tall (plus chimney)
Breezeway and Rec Room: 13 1/4" x 7 3/4" x 9 1/4" tall
Marx 1/2" Traditional furniture shown in the photos is included - 19 pieces total.
The decor of this suburban dream house is classic late 1950's:
flagstone pavers in the Breezeway,
a Princeton pennant on the Rec Room wall, a rifle over the Living Room fireplace mantle, braided rug, picture window, and a circus tent valance and soldier wall decoration in the Baby's Room.
Condition is Excellent.
This was my doll house as a child and it was just as lovingly used by my own daughter.  It is structurally sound and there are no dents. It is clean and brightly colored. Even the paint on the underside of the flat base is pristine. You will have to look hard to find the minor flaws: 3 small discoloration spots on the roof (from where my daughter put stickers on it), a paint scratch on the breezeway base from a misplaced tab, a tiny paint scratch near the front door, two rust spots along the edge of the roof, a few tabs with paint scratches and a few small dots of rust on the edges.  Please look at the photos carefully.
