GRAPHITE CRUCIBLE FOR KERR MAXI ELECTRO-MELT 100 OZ CAPACITY
This is a machine lathed graphite crucible that is designed specifically for Kerr Maxi Melt(Kerr part number 29479).
Made of high grade fine grain graphite to provide optimum performance and durability.
Graphite provides maximum resistance to oxidation while metal is being melted. To avoid contamination use separate crucible for each metal.

4-1/8" Deep
The bottom of the crucible is equipped with 1/2" opening to fit thermocouple for precise temperature measurement. This assures that molten metal is not over or undercooked and extends longevity of the heating element.
The crucible is equipped with pouring spout, which allows molten metal to be poured out of the crucible without removing the crucible from electromelt thus shortening transition period and assuring more uniform consistency of the molten metal prior to solidification.
