When I was a child more than 40+ years ago my father was in the antique jewelry business.
From time to time he would come home with different treasures and occasionally he would let me "acquire" them!
I am selling all of my collection and it ranges from necklaces to sterling pins, to rhinestone Deco pieces and more.

These are much nicer than in the picture.
This is a new old stock Large Round Black Onyx (or maybe glass?) Hoop Stone.
Each measures approx. 47 mm in diameter x 3.5 mm thick  ( 1 7/8 " diameter x 1/8" thick)

It has a swirl of brown as if it is tortoise but I'm really sure its not.
They would make great earrings or a pendant or be pretty as a pendant.
