Description
Moritz Gottschalk lithographed paper over wood house No. 3131. c. 1900.House has a bay window on the first floor topped with a pierced metal railing, and sloped overhang above the front door. House is 16 1/2" high, 7" deep at the base, and 10" wide at the roof overhang.
Exterior paper is in pretty good shape, with expansion bubbles, with a bit of paper loss right front foundation at the top corner, hidden by the replaced front steps. Chimney has also been replaced, but well done. Roof paint shows dirt, but looks original. Interior window curtains look like they might be original. Interior wallpaper is gold on the sides of the first floor and looks original, but I'm not sure about the blue paper on the first floor back, and second floor. Floor papers are original, with some staining along the edges of the first floor.
This is a manageable sized house in excellent condition for a lithographed wood house of this age.
