    These rods will stir molten metals up to 3000 degrees without excessive erosion or contaminating the alloy
    This stirring rods are 1/2" in Diameter, and 12" long for use when melting.  These rods are thicker diameter size for larger amounts of metal.  They are durable and made from a high density carbon.  Stir your precious metals, scrap metals, while melting.
    The carbon rod is used when melting metals with Torch, in Gas or Electric Melting Furnaces. Rod is used for stirring the molten metal in order to get a good homogenous mix of the alloys in
    non-ferrous and precious metals except platinum!
