    Description

    PLEASE NOTE DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION
1930's or early 1940's wood/pressboard mansion I believe made by the Rich Toy company.  Another eBayer was kind enough to share the photo of the advertisement.  The house which has signs of wear has been disassembled and will be shipped flat.  The house comes with the green "lawn" as well.  The house was wired for four interior lights and two lights on the portico.  There is an outdoor trim piece that needs to be put back on.  All of the hardware was bagged and labeled as I took it apart.  There is some hardware missing but not anything that can't be found at a local hardware store.  I expect the house needs to be reassembled from the ground up (just like a real house).
The wood/pressboard has some signs of warping but overall in good use for a toy at least 80 years old I believe.  There are signs of wear and chipped paint on the metal.  There are some signs of glue on the wall where a picture or mirror might have been attached.   All the clear plastic windows are there as one was found inside the house as I took it apart.  I believe it was bought in the thirties/early 40's for my mom when she was a youngster.
The wiring was cracking and a hazard and not able to be used.  I cut the wires while taking the house apart to sell.  The fixtures will be included with the house but a whiz with electrical wiring will be needed to rewire the house.  My grandfather was pretty handy so he may have wired the house with some new holes that may not have followed the original assembly directions exactly.
Please ask questions before bidding or you need additional photos as I want buyer to be satisfied with their purchase.  Shipping is estimated based on the shipping for the two mansion guest houses I previously sold, disassembled and shipped.  I will certainly refund any difference to the buyer.
